This is a request on Another Studio [link] for Jinx. This is her classic champagne dun tobiano filly Jocelyn, who's quite a dreamer hence her unusual imaginary surroundings. She's walking through a lake of mist.

I... I wanted to give up on this several times. The stock horse was so pretty but there was no logical place to stick a mane, all options involved lots of ugly masking and crazy brush-wrestling. I re-did the mane three times cause I hated it so much. It just had no shape at all (you know those stationary curves manes I do? It was like that but uglier.) so... THREE TIMES! Gah! I think I can live with this version though. Which is a good thing cause I started it twelve hours ago (I multitask a lot, but still... that's longer than usual)!

Please, please love it because I worked so hard on getting it to not look like a steaming pile of excrement.



I love encouragement and suggestions for improvement, and I respond to all comments. ^.^

I think it came out perfectly Spec! It looks wonderful. Although I think it the front right leg would look a bit better with a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more mist. ^-^

It is so gorgeous Speccy! I love the tail, but the mane is unbelievable... You're way too good >.> lol

Thanks hun! I'm still not totally happy with the mane... it should be strandier like the tail and forelock... but it works. :D
